Registration

For the first year, we will be capped at 50 racers, with a running waitlist as well and the potential to expand based on interest. Entry is first come, first serve to all qualified applicants. Given the nature of the event, we require previous appropriate mountain ultra experience (think 50 mile or longer with significant elevation change / altitude factors) within the past two years. Be sure to include this in your Ultrasignup registration or your entry will be cancelled!

We also require 8 hours of either trail work or race volunteering to be completed within an approximate year of the event (July 1, 2018 until August 11, 2019). If you are unable or unwilling to complete your trail work you may pay an opt-out fee of $125 that will be donated in equal sums to the Colorado Trail Foundation and Continental Divide Trail Coalition. Costs

$175 through June 30
$200 from June 1 until July 31 (Registration closure)

So that you won't be surprised, expect a minimal "swag bag" at check in. Signing up is not the achievement, finishing is. You will, I hope, be more than pleased once to cross that finish line.

Cancellation Policy

Refunds will only be provided to those whose spot is taken from the wait list, if applicable. Otherwise, all entries are non-refundable and non-transferable.  Further, if we are unable to hold the race due to any outside force (extreme weather, government shutdown, fire, etc.) we will again be unable to provide refunds. We are a small race, have small margins and have committed expenses well before race day.
